General Information:

State Route 87 is a dual carriageway suburban arterial road in Perth's northern suburbs, it's also the northern terminus of the Mitchell Freeway (SR2) at Currambine.

History:

• July 2008: Upgrade to dual carriageway along Burns Beach Road from Delgado Parade, Iluka to Joondalup Drive, Joondalup commences. 1
• 2 November 2008: Interchange with Mitchell Fwy at Currambine opened to traffic. 2
