General Information:

State Route 62 is a major country route in Queensland's far northern tablelands. It acts as the main route connecting several small communties with larger towns such as Winton and Boulia, plus the route is used by freight and mining industries. It also connects with 2 major highways and another developmental route along the western edge of the state. The route also forms part of Australia's Dinosaur Trail.
