General Information:

Morshead Drive has both a section with a route number (Tourist Drive 3) and a small length without. This page covers the unnumbered section.

Morshead Drive is an arterial route which continues on from Parkes Way at the Kings Avenue roundabout at Russell. The route is a dual carriageway with 2 lanes in each direction.

The road was named after Leslie Morshead, who commanded the 33rd Battalion of the AIF, between 1916 and 1919, and the 9th Division during siege of Tobruk and the Battle of El Alamein in World War 1. 1
