General Information:

Kingsford Smith Drive is an arterial road which connects western Belconnen's northern suburbs to its southern suburbs and also eventually to Civic and Woden via other arterial roads. The alignment consists of a 4-lane road, some of which is divided by a median.

The road is named after Charles Edward Kingsford Smith (1897-1935), who was a well known aviator, who made many epic flights including the first across the Pacific Ocean in 1928.
